Release. Rewire.
Remember who you truly are.
This isn’t just a retreat, it’s a deep remembering.
A full-body exhale. A homecoming to yourself.
Welcome to Deep Reset & Restore, an integrative hypnotherapy and wellness retreat where you’ll reconnect with your body, reclaim your calm, and return to your natural state of balance and vitality.
Over nine restorative days in Zanzibar, you’ll step away from the noise of everyday life and gently uncover the survival patterns — the four Fs, fight, flight, freeze, and fawn — that keep your nervous system on high alert, frozen in inertia or a painful cycle between the two.
These protective states were once essential for your safety, but when they become your default, they can keep you stuck in chronic loops of anxiety, depression, disconnection, apathy, exhaustion, people pleasing and feelings of powerlessness

Chronic stress and unresolved trauma can keep the body stuck in survival mode driving constant activation of the nervous system. Over time, this can lead to real physical health issues like chronic fatigue syndrome, irritable bowel syndrome hormonal imbalances, poor sleep, and heightened anxiety. When the body never feels safe, it diverts energy away from healing, digestion, and repair.
These patterns don’t just “go away” with willpower. The nervous system learns them for protection, and without the right environment, it keeps repeating them—leaving people feeling wired, exhausted, emotionally reactive, or completely shut down. This is why so many struggle to make lasting changes, even when they’re doing “all the right things.”

A health retreat creates the conditions your system needs to reset. Through guided support, nervous system regulation, rest, and targeted practices, you can begin to shift out of survival mode and into a state where your body can finally recover. It’s not about escape—it’s about giving yourself the space and tools to feel safe again, so real healing can happen.
Hypnotherapy is a potent tool for releasing and rewiring stress and trauma responses, especially when those responses feel automatic, overwhelming, or out of proportion to the situation.
What you will leave with

Hypnotherapy at the Retreat
During the Reset & Restore Retreat, our expert clinical hypnotherapist Zoë Clews will guide you through a transformative journey to gently unravel the patterns of your stress responses that shape how you react to pressure and emotional triggers.
Clinical hypnotherapy is a gentle, evidence-informed approach that uses guided relaxation and focused attention to help you access the part of your mind where habits, emotional patterns, and automatic responses are formed. You remain aware and in control throughout, while working in a calm, focused state that allows lasting change to take place.
Through Zoë’s expert guidance, you’ll begin to reprogramme the old emotional codes, release deeply held fear, negative self-belief and cognitive distortions, clear emotional residue from past experiences, and experience a profound sense of release from dysfunctional and limiting systems (family, generational, societal and beyond). From here, you can begin to build new neural pathways of calm, confidence and connection, and reconnect with your True Self.

ALSO IN THE PROGRAMME

Yoga: Vin to Yin
Classes are a mix of vinyasa and yin yoga — vin to yin. Practice begins with the steady flow of vinyasa to build heat and focus, then shifts into the quiet holds of yin to release tension and support the nervous system.

Massage: Restoring Flow and Ease
Our qualified massage therapist applies therapeutic massage techniques targeting stress-related conditions, chronic pain, injury recovery, muscle dysfunction, and postural problems.

Homeopathy: Subtle Support for Deep Healing
A group session with a homeopath who will introduce this holistic healing approach, established in the 18th century. Homeopathy is a system of alternative medicine used safely by over 200 million people worldwide. It works by using diluted natural substances to stimulate the body’s own ability to heal.
Homeopaths recognise the deep connection between mind, body and spirit, understanding that emotional imbalances—such as stress, anxiety, or grief—can often show up as physical symptoms. By addressing emotional issues at their root, homeopathy supports gentle and effective healing on both emotional and physical levels.

Free Time: Time to have Fun, Explore or Simply Reflect
It’s not all inner work—there’s plenty of adventure too. Enjoy excursions to swim with dolphins, visit a local farm, and experience authentic Swahili culture through traditional cooking and palm-leaf weaving. And then there’s the ocean—yes, it really is that turquoise. Sip a coffee on soft white sand as the waves gently ebb and flow.
