What else

All visitors require a visa which costs $50 per person. Apply online or buy on arrival
(On arrival can be easier).
Zanzibar health insurance is mandatory and costs $44 per person. Apply online before

Airport transfers can be arranged. Once we have your flight details, we can arrange group or individual transfers. Guide price $40* per car each way.

Local Currency

The local currency is Tanzanian Schillings (TZS), but most places accept USD.

Local ATMs dispense TZS and accept Visa cards. Some also accept Mastercard,

but Visa is more common.
Cash is widely used; most hospitality accept card payments.
